RCISD Approves 3% Raises for 2026-27

As part of the 2026-27 Employee Compensation Plan, the RCISD School Board approved a 3% raise for the upcoming school year.

Highlights of the Compensation Plan include:

  • An increase for all teaching staff of $1,900 (3% of the Average of Midpoint) 

  • An increase for non-teaching staff of 3% of the Midpoint Pay Range 

  • New Hire Teacher Schedule: minimum of $61,500 & maximum of $71,950 

  • Pay scale adjustments for each non-teaching pay family

  • Adjustments for market and critical need areas 

  • Add a District-funded Telehealth benefit for all employees (includes their dependent(s) & spouse

  • Incentive pay: if enrollment increases after the snapshot date, provide a one-time loyalty payment of $1,000 for Annualized Staff
