ROYSE CITY, TX – June 23, 2025 – The Royse City ISD Board of Trustees proudly recognized the Royse City High School (RCHS) FFA Chapter at Monday's board meeting for its outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the district and Area 5. RCHS FFA stands as the largest FFA Chapter in Area 5 and the largest student-led organization within RCISD, boasting an impressive membership of over 700 students from 3rd to 12th grade.
Leadership Within Area 5
Royse City FFA continues to cultivate exceptional leaders, with two students securing prestigious Area and District FFA Offices for the 2025-2026 school year:
Austin Garza was elected Area Five FFA Secretary. He is one of only seven students elected to an Area V Office out of 18,846 FFA members in the area.
Lilly Wilkins was elected District 1 Vice President. This marks the eighth consecutive year an RCHS student has held a leadership role within the district.

The chapter proudly brought home 17 blue ribbons from major shows with 8 Ag Mechanics projects this year.
Collin County Show Success
At the Collin County Show, RCHS FFA members demonstrated outstanding showmanship and project quality:
26 students made the sale across all project categories.
Students exhibiting projects at the Collin County Show received a remarkable $35,713 in payouts.
