Teaching is so much more than just a job. It’s about the extra hours spent grading, the encouragement given when a student is struggling, and the passion brought into the classroom to make learning come alive. Our teachers are mentors, cheerleaders, and the foundation of our community.
To our teachers: Thank you for your patience, your dedication, and for showing up with a smile. You aren’t just teaching lessons; you’re shaping the future, and we couldn’t be more grateful for you.

Refunds: As promised, all pre-ordered ticket payments will be fully refunded. Please allow 5-7 business days for these to be processed through the original payment method.
No Reschedule: Because of the busy end-of-year calendar and pre-scheduled May events, we unfortunately do not have a window to reschedule this specific celebration.
To our NJHS Officers: We want to publicly acknowledge the incredible amount of time, creativity, and heart you poured into planning this. While the weather isn’t cooperating, your leadership and hard work did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Aida-Mia-Makenna-Madi & Ashton for your hard work! You planned a beautiful event, and we are so proud of you.
To our 8th Graders: We are just as disappointed as you are. While we can’t have this specific party, we are still so excited to celebrate your final weeks at SMS in other ways.
Thank you all for your understanding during this "rain check" that we sadly can’t cash in.

We are looking forward to celebrating our 8th graders this Friday at the "Summer’s Sunset" send-off. However, we are currently monitoring the weather forecast for May 1st, as the safety and enjoyment of our students is our top priority.
Decision Timeline: We will make a final "go/no-go" decision regarding the event by 3:00 PM this Thursday, April 30th. We will notify all families via email and school social media at that time.
Refunds: If we are forced to cancel due to weather, all ticket payments will be fully refunded.
Scheduling: Due to the busy nature of the end of the school year and the high volume of events already scheduled for May, we will unfortunately not be able to reschedule the event if it is canceled.
Our NJHS officers have worked incredibly hard over the last few months to plan every detail of this celebration. While we are disappointed that the weather is looking uncertain, we are staying optimistic and hoping that it cooperates so we can give our 8th graders the send-off they deserve!
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the forecast.

Our NJHS officers are so excited to host our 8th grade students on the football field this Friday, May 1st, for a night of giant inflatables, music, and middle school memories.
