ROYSE CITY, TX — In honor of School Board Recognition Month this January, Royse City ISD is proud to celebrate its Board of Trustees for their unwavering dedication to the district’s students, staff, and community. To kick off the month-long celebration, Superintendent Dr. Amy Anderson hosted the second annual dinner, bringing together both current and past board members to reflect on the district's progress and history.

Each January, school districts across the state applaud the dedication and service of their local school trustees. For 2026, the theme for School Board Recognition Month is "Our Future Is Public," a  campaign designed to help trustees and the communities they represent amplify the success stories happening in their own districts while spreading the word about the power of public education.

“Royse City ISD continues to be blessed with committed trustees who are dedicated to providing the best for the students and staff of the district,” shared Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Amy Anderson. “This board exemplifies what it means to truly support a community. I am honored to work alongside them, and grateful for the time and energy they pour into their service. Like boards who shaped the district before them, our current trustees are creating a legacy that will positively reach generations to come as students pass through our schools and step into bright futures.”
