The H.H. Browning Achievement Center and Royse City ISD are proud to announce seven more graduates of the Alternative Learning Program (ALC): Ja’Niece Ward, Ryder Elms, Alberto Martinez, Hope Urbieta, Jayden Pierce, Damion Garcia, and Juan Quinones. These students have successfully completed the program, demonstrating remarkable perseverance and dedication to their education.

The ALC offers a flexible pathway for students to overcome personal challenges and achieve their academic goals. This program allows students to take ownership of their education and work at a pace that best suits their unique needs within a learning environment designed to meet students where they are, optimizing individual growth.

“Each of these graduates are powerful examples of what can be achieved through perseverance, adaptability, and unwavering dedication to one's educational journey,” said Dr. Jared Smith, Principal of the H.H. Browning Achievement Center. “Their paths were not always straight, but they embraced a different style of learning and demonstrated incredible self-discipline and determination.”

Upon graduation, Ja’Niece Ward plans to attend real estate school to become a real estate  investor. Ryder Elms plans to attend EastField College to study electrical mechanical engineering and automotive mechanic engineering. Alberto Martinez plans to attend college for coding and data informatics. Hope Urbieta plans to enroll in a CNA program, and then eventually become a registered nurse. Jayden Pierce plans to go into the military (Army branch) and play college football. Damion Garcia plans to be an electrician and construction manager. Juan Quinones plans to enter the construction field.

"This journey has not only led to the achievement of their academic credentials but has also equipped them with crucial life skills—resilience, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of their own strengths,” Dr. Smith added. “These are qualities that will serve them well in all future endeavors."

The H.H. Browning Achievement Center and Royse City ISD extend a heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and wish them the best in their upcoming plans. Their success is a testament to their hard work, and is an inspiration to others.
