At the December 11, 2023 Royse City ISD School Board Meeting, Chief Financial Officer Byron Bryant presented the annual School Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report. The system is designed to encourage Texas public schools to better manage their financial resources to provide the maximum allocation possible for direct instructional purposes. The district is rated on 20 separate indicators and scored an overall 92 of 100 total points qualifying the district for a Superierior Rating.
