Hello Fort Fam,
Due to the weather looking bad on Friday and possible rain two days before, we're rescheduling our Field Day. We'll move Field Day to Tuesday, May 6th. I know it's early to cancel, but we have students from the high school coming to help, bounce houses rented, teachers need time to make lesson plans for Friday, etc. May is very full right now so that's why it'll be on a Tuesday.
Thank you for understanding and we'll send out more info when it gets closer to time!

Principal

The excitement is building as they prepare to hatch baby chicks! Stay tuned for egg-cellent updates!

Fort parents, With this cold weather coming, we're going to reduce our car line in the morning to one lane for the next few days. This will allow our staff to trade off and no one has to be outside for the entire 35 minutes. Have your students ready to hop out of the car and we'll work to keep the line moving quickly!
Texas recognizes many historical observances that mark our rich history. Royse City ISD celebrates the State of Texas Anniversary Remembrance Day (STAR Day) today in honor of Texas joining the Union and the day that James Pinckney Henderson became the first governor of Texas in 1846. #TexasHistory #RCISDCelebrates #rcisdjoy
