Homecoming 2025

ROYSE CITY, TX – The Royse City High School community came together on Friday, September 5, 2025, to celebrate its annual Homecoming football game and to honor the 2025 Homecoming Court. The pre-game festivities culminated in the crowning of this year's Homecoming King and Queen.

The ceremony began with a procession featuring crown bearers Scottee Davis, a kindergartener at Paula Walker Elementary, and Brazos Jones, a third-grader at Fort Elementary.

The Underclassman Royal Court was first recognized, with Freshman Prince Jarius Staton and Princess Maddie Mendoza, Sophomore Prince Bryson Arney and Princess Brooke York, and Junior Prince Courtney Chancellor and Princess Callie Hart.

The senior nominees were then introduced, each escorted by family members:

  • Logan Wofford

  • Jayden Pierce

  • Hudson Hays

  • Kaylee Arrowood

  • Lexy Griffin

  • Tiffany Iroha

  • Hailey Padon

After a moment of anticipation, the 2025 Homecoming King and Queen were announced. Tayvian Moore was crowned Homecoming King. A standout student-athlete, he is involved in both football, and track and field. Moore plans to pursue a business degree at either Texas A&M or Rice University.

Lexy Griffin was crowned Homecoming Queen. She is a member of the National Honor Society, a track and field athlete, and is on course to graduate with an associate's degree in Criminal Justice through the dual credit program. Griffin plans to attend law school to become a corporate attorney.

The entire 2025 Royal Court was recognized for their achievements and leadership. The ceremony concluded the pre-game festivities, which were followed by the Bulldogs' dominant 49-14 Homecoming victory over the Rowlett Eagles.
