Help our SPED Department with the Campus Challenge to Win a Prize!

The Elementary campus and the Secondary campus with the highest number of families in attendance will each win a prize! Please encourage your parents to attend and ensure they check in under your campus name.
Thank you for your continued support in bridging the gap between our schools and our families.
Let’s make this a great turnout!

It’s officially time for our students to shine! We have an exciting week of UIL competitions ahead, and we want to make sure everyone is geared up and ready to go. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming events:
🏫 Thursday & Friday: On-Campus Competitions
During school hours this Thursday and Friday, students will be competing in various events right here at the school.
Attendance: Because these events take place throughout the school day in various classrooms, these competitions are closed to the public. This allows our competitors to stay focused and keeps our campus routines running smoothly.
📍 Saturday: Bailey Middle School
Events for Listening Skills, Oral Reading, and Storytelling will be held this Saturday at Bailey Middle School from 8:30 - 12pm.
Parent Supervision: Parents are required to accompany their children to Bailey Middle School and must remain on-site until their child’s specific competition is completed.
🎖️ Awards & Recognition
We know everyone is anxious to hear the results! We are currently finalizing the details for our Awards Celebration Day. As soon as the date is approved, we will send out an announcement. This will be the special moment where students find out how they placed and receive the awards they’ve worked so hard to earn.

No School Thursday January 29th
While today’s sunshine was a welcome sight, road conditions across our area remain unsafe in several rural locations, as well as the majority of our campus parking lots and bus drop-off areas. After careful assessment of all impacted areas, Royse City ISD will be closed tomorrow (1/29/26).
Our decision is based on concerns for bus routes that include secondary roads (neighborhood streets, bridges, and shaded areas) where melting has been minimal, as well as the safety of our student and parent drivers who may encounter icy or hazardous conditions during the morning commute and drop-off. Bus lanes and parking lots remain areas that have yet to thaw. Tomorrow’s forecast should provide us with the opportunity to address these spaces, as well as additional time for some of our less-traveled roadways to clear of ice.
As with the previous snow days this week, UIL district after-school activities for Thursday will be communicated by the athletics department in coordination with other districts in the area. We are looking forward to cheering on our Bulldogs very soon!
The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and patience as conditions continue to improve. We will keep families informed, and look forward to having students back on campuses as soon as it is safe to do so.

Friendly reminder that our campus will be closed to lunch guests from Feb 17 to Feb 27 due to TELPAS testing. Let’s give our students the space they need to shine! Thanks for understanding. 🌟
