Our students turned into junior geologists today to explore the power of plate tectonics. From mountain ranges to deep-ocean trenches, we’ve been modeling how the Earth’s surface is constantly on the move!

🌟 NJHS Students Give Back in Q2! 🌟
Our National Junior Honor Society students have been busy serving both our school and community in so many meaningful ways this quarter!
Community Service: They volunteered with nonprofits like the Royse City Animal Shelter, local churches, and packed meals at Feed My Starving Children. They also donated to Toys for Tots, served at local Trunk-or-Treats, and the Fate Tree Lighting.
Campus & School Support: They helped teachers at various RCISD campuses before and after school and served on various campus teams, including the Veteran's Day Team, the Recycling Team, and the New Student Tours Team.
We're so proud of the hard work and dedication of our NJHS students! 👏 Their service is making a real impact on our campus & community.

Our newcomers had an enriching experience today on their field trip to the George Bush Presidential Library! 🏛️ Students gained valuable insights into historical American events and learned about the key policies and milestones during President Bush's time in office. What a great way to connect classroom lessons to real history!
