ROYSE CITY, TX – At the October 6 school board meeting Chief Academic Officer Lorie Squalls recognized and celebrated the dedication and profound impact of campus leaders, celebrating National Principal Month.
RCISD principals serve as the vital cornerstone of every campus, fostering positive learning environments, supporting staff development, and ensuring every student is known, valued, and challenged to grow.
“They are the advocates and champions for every teacher, every staff member and every single student,” said Dr. Lorie Squalls, RCISD Chief Academic Officer. “They manage the complex demands of running a campus with grace, vision, and an unwavering commitment to our students and staff. National Principal Month gives us a much-needed opportunity to pause and express our deep gratitude for their tireless service, their dedication to student success, and the positive cultures they build every single day.”
RCISD Superintendent, Dr. Amy Anderson, extended a heartfelt thank you to the principals. “These administrators lead with a servant’s heart, keep what is best for kids at the forefront of decision making, and ensure positive student experiences are a pillar of their campus culture.”
RCISD encourages students, parents, staff, and community to participate in celebrating these dedicated leaders throughout the month.
