High school students in the fasion merchandising pathway recently helped our youngest Bulldogs in the district by making custom pillows for their "reading cubbies" at the Bulldog Learning Center. The BLC teacher shared, "I love that even at 6A size, we can still have our small town feel!" #RCISDJoy

Black History Month Highlight! Did you Know that New Hope Baptist Church (directly across from the Epps Administration Building) is a designated historical marker site for the state of Texas? Founded in 1859, the church existed prior to the Civil War and the Emancipation Proclamation and before both Rockwall County and the City of Royse City existed. The site where New Hope Baptist Church now sits was acquired in 1868 and was initially a workers’ schack on the property used as a place of worship and the permanent building was erected in 1914. A new sanctuary was constructed in 1994. #RCISDJoy
