Royse City ISD is thrilled to introduce Kristy Morse as the new Executive Director of Learning Communities. This position will directly support our campus leadership and the day-to-day campus operations.
Mrs. Morse comes to Royse City ISD from Mesquite ISD, where she has served as a middle school principal and elementary school principal. She has 29 years of experience in education, with 12 of those years as a campus principal. She successfully opened a new middle school with over 1200 students, where she implemented systems and created a culture of high expectations.
Mrs. Morse has earned a reputation as an excellent administrator who embodies transparency, open communication, and trust among students, staff, parents, and community members. She prioritizes collaboration by working alongside other leaders, teachers, parents, and stakeholders to create a supportive learning environment. As a visionary thinker, she set clear goals for the school’s future and inspires others to work toward continuous improvement. In her current role as a middle school principal, she also leads the district’s aspiring principal program and serves as a district principal mentor.
Her current supervisor stated, “Kristy Morse is an influential leader; she is highly regarded in the district. Principals lean on her experience and wisdom. She is a stellar campus and district leader who welcomes challenges and leads in a collaborative, transparent nature. She sets up her team to be successful.”
