The energy was high at Baley Middle School as Royse City ISD hosted its third annual Special Olympics Basketball Skills Competition! This event brought together fantastic athletes from across the district to showcase their hard work and sportsmanship.
Athletes from the following campuses participated in the day's events:
Elementary Schools: Cherry, Davis, Herndon, Moss, Vernon, and Walker
Middle Schools: Summers and Baley
High School: Royse City High School
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible high school athletic program volunteers, and key station leaders. Their dedication in running the competition stations, and supporting our athletes, made the entire event possible. We are also sincerely grateful to the parents, coaches, and staff who came to cheer on our participants as they lived out the Special Olympics oath: “Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”
