ROYSE CITY, TX – Royse City ISD and the Royse City Police Department are excited to announce the launch of the "Blue Bulldog Santa" program, a new initiative designed to bring holiday cheer and support to students and families in need across the district.
This special program is a collaborative effort between the Royse City ISD Safety and Security Department, the Royse City Police Department (RCPD), and Rockwall County Helping Hands. The goal is to ensure that every student and family in the RCISD community has a brighter holiday season.
"The 'Blue Bulldog Santa' program embodies the spirit of community partnership and care that defines Royse City," said Troy Burke, the Director of Safety and Security for Royse City ISD. "By working hand-in-hand with our police department and local partners, we can provide tangible support and extra joy to those who need it most this time of year."
How the Program Works
RCISD Safety and Security and the Royse City Police Department, in coordination with campus counselors, are currently working to identify families who could benefit from additional support this holiday season. Every campus within RCISD will have the opportunity to submit the names of students and families who could use a little extra cheer. All donations and collected items will directly benefit local families within the Royse City ISD community.
Ways to Donate and Participate
The community is invited to participate in several key ways to make the inaugural Blue Bulldog Santa program a success. You can participate in our district-wide Toy Drive by dropping off new, unwrapped items at one of the donation boxes located at every RCISD campus between November 17 and December 4.
Additionally, on December 3, the Royse City Police Department and RCISD Safety and Security will host a special community Toy Drive at the Royse City Walmart from 4:30-8:00 pm.

Competition and Prizes
The Royse City Police Department is adding extra incentive for student participation! The RCISD classroom that collects the most donations during the drive will be sponsored by RCPD with a special celebration party!
