Rezoning Info

Royse City ISD Families & Staff,

Did you know that five new schools are planned for construction and opening by August of 2027? As shared last month, Royse City ISD is now ranked #5 in the DFW area for annual new home closings. We are on track to add about 1,000 students to our total enrollment each school year. Thankfully, Royse City ISD voters approved recent bond elections to allow the district to build new schools, buy land for future schools and complete school expansions. Each time a new school opens, rezoning processes are required.

A proposed 1-year elementary boundary zone and a 2-year middle school boundary zone are currently being developed for August of 2024. Click here to view the drafted boundary maps, read FAQs and access our online feedback form.

IN-PERSON FEEDBACK OPPORTUNITY

A Rezoning Talk event will take place on Tuesday, November 28 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Join us to view maps, provide questions and share your feedback. The suggested boundary map will be on display and staff will be on hand to answer questions. The final version of the map will be presented to the Royse City ISD School Board on December 11, 2023 for approval.
