FFA Awards

ROYSE CITY, TX – The Royse City Independent School District and the Royse City FFA chapter are proud to celebrate a series of impressive achievements by their students in both Leadership Development Events (LDE). Royse City FFA students demonstrated exceptional skills in agricultural advocacy, leadership, and animal and mechanical sciences, earning high honors at the district, area, and state levels.

Royse City FFA teams excelled in several LDE categories, which focus on developing skills in public speaking, decision-making, and communication.

  • Ag Advocacy: The team placed 2nd at District and 8th at Area. Students—Isabella Anderson, Peyton Bowen, Hailey Padon, Cylee Poor, and Savannah Santiago—researched and presented on how current grocery store prices affect local farmers and ranchers. (Advisor: Abigail Parr)

  • AG Issues: This team earned 2nd at District and 10th at Area. The members were Carlie Boling, Leddi Brumley, Aleeya Garcia, Emily Keene, Miley Perez, Haylee Staats, and Michael Trujillo.

  • Greenhand Chapter Conducting: The team placed 2nd at District and 11th at Area. Students included Madison Clark, Piper Kendall, Piper Wiley, Kendra Stoker, Calleigh Landtroop, Maggie Houser, Clayton Musa, and Annabelle Causey.

  • Greenhand Quiz: The team, consisting of Madison Clark, Calleigh Landtroop, Clayston Musa, and Madison Neighbors, placed 2nd at District and 3rd at Area. Clayton Musa was also recognized individually, placing 2nd overall.

  • Greenhand Creed: Blakely Loveless earned 2nd at District and 10th at Area.

  • Public Relations: The team—Lexi Richardson, Hannah Reiff, Karson Moore, and Julianna Cooper—placed 3rd at District after planning and presenting a program to inform school administration about Royse City FFA. (Advisor: Taylor Russell)

These accomplishments reflect the dedication of the students, the rigorous instruction provided by the advisors, and the strong support of the Royse City ISD community.
