ROYSE CITY, TX – June 25, 2025 – Royse City ISD is announcing the official release of the 2025-2026 academic calendar, along with the approved bell schedules for all campuses. This comprehensive guide provides families, students, and staff with essential dates and daily timings to plan for the upcoming school year.
The 2025-2026 calendar, which was approved by the Royse City ISD Board of Trustees following a comprehensive community and staff survey, is now available for public access. It includes key dates such as the first day of school, holiday breaks, staff development days, early release days, and the last day of classes.
Key highlights of the 2025-2026 academic calendar include:
First Day of School: August 13, 2025
Fall Break: October 13-17, 2025
Thanksgiving Break: November 24-28, 2025
Winter Break: December 22, 2025 - January 2, 2026
Spring Break: March 16-20, 2026
Last Day of School: May 22, 2026
Graduation: May 26, 2026 (for Royse City High School)
In addition to the calendar, the district has also finalized bell schedules to ensure smooth operations across all campuses. While specific class schedules will be communicated by individual schools closer to the start of the year, the general daily operating hours are as follows:
Pre-K: 7:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m. | Doors open at 7:00 a.m. | Tardy bell at 7:30 a.m.
Elementary: 7:30 a.m. - 3:05 p.m. | Doors open at 7:00 a.m. | Tardy bell at 7:40 a.m.
Middle School: 8:40 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. | Doors open at 8:05 a.m. | Tardy bell at 8:50 a.m.
High School: 8:05 a.m. - 3:40p.m. | Doors open at 7:35 a.m. | Tardy bell at 8:15 a.m.
