RCISD FFA Students Recognized at Board Meeting

Royse City FFA is the largest Student-Led Organization at RCISD, home to more than 450 FFA members ranging from 3rd to 12th grade. Our students compete in all facets of FFA which includes the following highest placing students we are recognizing today that met the following criteria of advancing to state, advancing to area, receiving Lone star degree, making sale at the county level as well as placing top ten at a State Livestock show.

Career Development Team:

Meats Evaluation and Technology:  

Placed 4th at area and advanced to the State contest.

Placed 2nd out of 68 teams at area and advanced to the State contest.

  • Kaitlynn Hughes 1st in district Extemporaneous and 2nd area and advanced to state
  • Emily teal 1st in district in Soil Stuartship and advanced to area.

Fort Worth: Dairy Cattle: Cylee Poor 2 6th place finishes and 3 best in 3 females

$90,450  That is increase of $26,781 from 2021

Royse City FFA Senior class of 2022 easy generated over $150K in scholarships from various organization locally, state, and national level and more are still coming in for these seniors.
