Teachers in Royse City ISD took an entire day before students returned for the second semester to collaborate and share best practices. The event, called Lesson Fixer Upper, was held at Royse City High School and attracted more than 350 educators. Attendants had the opportunity to sign up for classes taught by their peers in an effort to seek new teaching strategies and classroom ideas. Lesson Fixer Upper was the brainchild of the Curriculum and Instruction Team in the district. Thank you to the volunteer instructors and all who helped coordinate this unique professional development opportunity.
