Dual Credit at RCHS

All students planning to enroll in a four year university after high school or seeking certification in a workforce program should consider course work in dual credit.  Dual credit courses help students prepare for their future by completing the same assignments as university students all while on the high school campus surrounded by the support of high school instructors, counselors, and parents.  Additionally, students and families have a significant savings on average.  For example. students attending school at the University of North Texas would spend $8,736 in tuition and fees per year.  At Royse City High School, that same student would spend $750 and be reimbursed half of the tuition for each class passed. Dual credit is a wonderful learning opportunity for all students.
