The Academics department works with teachers, principals, and other stakeholders to transform the educational experience through improved curriculum design and best practices in teaching and learning. Our commitment and effort are focused on the end result of all students achieving at high levels. Our goal is for all teachers to be engaged in the instructional design in their classroom and feel ownership in the learning process. Our special programs personnel are committed to creating instructional support that meets the needs of all learners.

The Communications Department works to support Royse City ISD students and staff by engaging the community through effective communications. It is our goal to reach students, parents, staff and the community in a variety of ways. Amazing things happen every day in classrooms and schools. It is our mission to share the Royse City ISD story! In addition, the Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to support the district. The Foundation energizes, enriches, and enhances the school experience in Royse City ISD!

The Department of Cultural Development advances the principles and practices of leadership, culture, equity, and inclusion. Through collaboration with students, staff, families, and the community of Royse City, we will develop and pilot strategies that result in equitable outcomes and opportunities for our learners. We aim to cultivate and reinforce safe environments that celebrate the strength of a diverse population and encourages our community to be intellectually curious, culturally responsive, and emotionally intelligent.
