A portion of the mayor’s proclamation states, “I urge all citizens to join me in recognizing the dedication and hard work of local school board members and staff and in working with them to mold an education system that meets the needs of both today’s and tomorrow’s children.”
“It is a pleasure to work in a school district that has the backing of a great cities and communities. The collaboration provides a unique opportunity for us to all partner in the education of our students. Thank you to Mayor Nichol and all of the leaders of Royse City for this honor and your support,” said Superintendent Worthy.
