Long Term Goals

Reduce the annual electric consumption by five percent each year for the next six years, beginning September 1, 2007.

Goals and Objectives for School Year 2007-2008

Texas Growth Index will show positive growth (one year or more) in each measurable area

55% of seniors will have taken the ACT/SAT exam at least once in high school

“Recognized” School District

70% of students will be involved in at least one extra-curricular, co-curricular activity

70% of student organizations will develop/foster opportunities for student involvement in community activities

Fund balance increased to 15% of general fund

Maintenance and Operation tax rate comparable to other districts within Rockwall, Hunt and Collin Counties in 2007

Constructions costs per project will be within budget and; construction will be studied when projected trigger points are reached. Adopted RCISD Board of Trustees
