Royse City is located in a peaceful, rural setting located 30 miles east of Dallas and 20 miles west of Greenville on I-30. The city has a population of approximately 10,000 and is 50 minutes from Love Field and an hour from DFW Airport. If you enjoy water activities Lakes Lavon, Tawakoni, and Ray Hubbard are all in close proximity to Royse City. The area is college rich with Texas A&M @ Commerce, SMU, Eastfield, Rockwall County and Collin County Community Colleges all located within a 40 minute drive.

The District encompasses 74.48 square miles and claims a tri-county boundary - that of Rockwall, Collin, and Hunt Counties. New facilities are presently under construction to accommodate the surge in student poplulation. The citizens of Royse City have traditionally supported the school district in plans to build new buildings, expand or add programs. The District encourages parent volunteer programs and campus Parent Teacher Organizations.
