2007 - August 1st

Royse City ISD Board of Trustees met in a regular session on Wednesday, August 1 , 2007 at the Royse City ISD Administration Office. All members being present, the following business was conducted:

Open Forum—None

Budget Workshop: Conducted budget workshop, will meet again next week.

Action Items

The board adopted the Student Code of Conduct and the Extracurricular Code of Student Conduct as recommended by the administration.

No action taken on the proposed tax rate for 2007-08 or the public hearing date.

Action from Executive Session

The board accepted resignation from Desiree Parke, RCHS English.

The board approved the hiring of Tiffani Artt, Girl’s Athletic Director; Gret Carpenter, Vernon 2nd Grade; Melanie Dutton, Vernon Special Ed; Mary Glisch, Davis Nurse; Stacy Haumpy, RCHS Biology; Kristi Perkins, Scott 4th Grade; Channon Rainey, RCHS Health; Lisa Sipes, Browning Counselor; as recommended by the administration.
